Uniform Design Visualizer
At the core of the Nike Team experience is the Uniform Visualizer, which allows sales reps, coaches and athletes to collaboratively design a team uniform from head to toe on a 3-D avatar. The user starts off simply by entering their team name and colors, immediately rendering a fully-customized team uniform to start with. In an easy step-by-step flow, users can customize the details of every uniform garment, from the colors, threading, fabric types and graphic embellishments. Afterwards, users are encourage to share their designs via their collaborative Team Space for voting.
Cutting Edge 3D Technology
The Uniform Visualizer uses a very powerful 3D -rendering technology that takes every piece of Nike uniform product worn on the avatar and formats it into 3D objects with exact detail and size dimensions. Ultimately, the 3D-rendered products are mapped directly on the 3D avatar’s body, taking into account body measurements in relationship to the size of the products. This feature allows for the avatar to perfectly visualize exact fit, draping, tucking and lighting of garments.
Design Process: Wireframes, Rapid Sketching, Prototyping, Field Testing, Stakeholder Interviews
